All of CMYC's teachers are passionate about music and your child's musical disposition. They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development. And all of them are of course registered to teach the Music Together® curriculum.

Ellen worked with special-needs children for Philadelphia's National Adoption Center and has sung in choruses, church choirs, bands, and Fred Waring Music Workshops. Ellen is a skilled singer, loves to dance, and plays the autoharp. |

Nishan was a Music Together center director in Japan for five years and has taught music up through graduate-school levels. In his spare time, Nishan enjoys making music with his wife and five children. |

A former public school science teacher, Kelly has been bringing her genuine love of children, music, and family to Music Together families for 8 years. An accomplished singer and budding guitar player, Kelly also works as a Licensing Representative and Mentor for Music Together. She is also a national workshop presenter, and has experience teaching children birth through 21! |

Janet has taught Music Together classes for 18 years as both a center director and a CMYC faculty member. She enjoys leading private birthday parties and musical life celebrations in addition to offering classes for special-needs children. She is a singer, guitarist, oboist, percussionist, and entertainer. |

Ken led the Music Together program development for the Center for Music and Young Children, which he founded in 1985. A composer in styles ranging from the blues to opera, he graduated from Swarthmore College, studied composition at Manhattan School of Music, and is certified in Dalcroze Eurythmics. |

Joyce plays classical, pop, and jazz piano as well as guitar. She teaches piano and preschool music classes and is the music director for several children’s theatre companies in New Jersey. |

Lili is co-author of the Music Together curriculum with its founder Ken Guilmartin. At Temple, she directed the Children's Music Development Program. Currently Professor of Music Education at Rowan University, Lili is experienced in teaching preschool through graduate-school levels. |

Cheryl is a Music Together teacher, an Associate Teacher trainer, and Songs Workshop
leader for Music Together LLC.She also teaches ballet at Princeton Ballet School and Princeton University. As Artistic Director of Reverence Dance Company she has choreographed and participated in liturgies in churches and cathedrals in New Jersey, Maryland, and New York City and presented workshops at Westminster Choir College.She has collaborated with Princeton Pro Musica in several performances, the most recent being Carmina Burana. |

A singer, entertainer, and drummer, Wendy loves children and music. A familiar face in the local peace community for many years, Wendy has sung at weddings, births, and concerts and is a member of the Six Mile Run Reformed Church choir. |
Elizabeth Smith
B.A. in English, Northern Illinois University, and M.A. in Educational Ministries, Wheaton College. Elizabeth has been around music all her life, from choirs and musicals to impromptu concerts at home with her siblings. Now, as an experienced Music Together mom, she leads classes through her love of music, delightful sense of joy and years of experience teaching in the pre-school environment.
Megan Dey-Toth
B.A., Music, University of California, Santa Barbara. Megan is an accomplished mezzo-soprano who has performed worldwide. This year she celebrated her Carnegie Hall debut as the alto soloist in Mozart’s Requiem. She loves to share her enthusiasm for music with parents and children of all ages and is an experienced early childhood teacher. Megan plays piano and enjoys creating a spirited and inviting classroom environment.

B.A., Elementary Education, Colgate University, and an M.A. in Reading Progress Management, George Washington University. Karen joins the Music Together staff with extensive experience teaching young children. She has been a first grade teacher in the West Windsor Regional Schools and in the Rye Neck Union Free School District in New York. Karen leads her Lawrenceville Mom’s Club in regular music activities and also enjoys attending Music Together classes with her two boys. She brings to the classroom her expertise in playing both the flute and the piano. |

Cheryl Curbishley
B.A. English Education, The College of New Jersey. A former elementary school teacher, Cheryl enjoys working with children whenever she can. She loves making music and being silly with her husband, two children and local pre-schoolers. Cheryly is an avid runner, group excercise instructor, and local Girl Scout leader.
