"I thought you'd enjoy hearing that John-Michael was singing "She sells seashells" quietly to himself, while "handing" out the shells as you did in class. I watched him putting his palms out, one at a time, pretending to place the shells down. Another instance of doing something at home when we thought he hadn't even noticed in class!"

"It amazes me each day what Jenna holds onto in her little brain.... like tonight we were sitting doing stickers in the kitchen and there were stickers of bees and she put her hands together like in the beehive song and started to sing "here is the beehive but where are the bees....!".... now I don't know how long it is since we last sung that song but she came up with it at the appropriate time... and as I joined in with her she peeled off the bee stickers and stuck them on our clenched hands and started to dance around singing the song pretending to be a bee!..... just a fantastic moment!...makes it all so worth while!"

"We have spent the summer "picking paw paws" and often when he pretends to be driving his car he says it is to music class. I'm so impressed with how the things we did in class made their way into his mind without me even realizing it--I sang "wake up everybody" at him the other day and he got a big smile on his face and said "music class"!! "

He said (in Broken English) that this was always such a "happy place" and asked "how is it that you can bring twenty people together to enjoy each other so much." My first response was just to grab his arm and say simply "we sing!"
